Beginner’s guide: your first steps in the bunker
You have just arrived at the bunker and you do not know where to begin. This guide takes you by the hand through your first hour: no rush, no stress and nothing lost for making a mistake.
Create your account and enter the main room
It is free and you receive welcome scrap and diamonds. The main room is where you start: it has the bunker computer, the radio, the electrical panel, the mission board and the last newspaper from before the blackout.
Drag the map with the mouse or your finger to move around, use the wheel or a pinch to zoom and tap objects to use them. The arrows on the floor take you to other rooms.
Do your first tasks
Tap the electrical panel or the safe and play a mini-game of a few seconds: connecting wires, cracking a code... Every task pays scrap and experience, and sometimes leaves some junk to dismantle. If you fail nothing happens: you wait a few seconds and try again.
A daily task cap keeps the game relaxed; skills raise it.
Keep an eye on the vital systems
On the bunker computer you can see oxygen, water, rations and energy. They wear down over time, even when you are not playing. Recharge them with scrap or with supplies made in the workshop before they reach zero.
If a system runs out, the bunker breaks down and tasks pay half until you repair it. Nothing is ever lost permanently.
Level up and open rooms
Your level opens the workshop (level 2), the airlock (level 3), the garden (level 5), the furnace and the stairs down to the mine (level 6), the control room (level 8) and the laboratory (level 10). Every level gives you one point for the skill tree.
Make it yours
When you have some scrap, visit the warehouse: posters, paintings and neon signs for the walls; lamps, plants, barrels and armchairs for the floor. Many items can be redeemed with the scrap you earn by playing.
